CAN YOU LIVE WITHOUT TECHNOLOGY?
Overview
Technology has grown at a massive pace. The most-talked-about technology topic on social media is: life without technology. It’s hard to think of any area of life or daily activities nowadays for which we don’t need modern technology at all. From the most exquisite gadgets to the innovative electrical systems, technology is almost everywhere. In fact, technology is developing so fast that we may not survive without it. You may think it is possible to rely on ancient technologies, but modern technology is making our life more and more convenient.
This project was created for ARTGR512 Audience & perception class. Fall 2019

Through continuous material experiments and exploring the printing media, this project reflects the reality from twitter community to the most important aspects of my personal life.

Project concept
In this project, I intend to express my thoughts on this topic through personal social media experience combined with illustrations. In order to echo the topic of live without technology, most of my work comes from hand craft, by using the most primitive cut-and-paste method instead of the computerized copy-and-paste, and using the pixelated twitter dialogue as the background, to expand the scope of physical/digital dialogue.
